In an emergency situation, I ended up having to take my kitten to be put down tonight, without time to think about funds I rushed out the door. After traveling from Sidney to anna (my vet was closed) I was told the amount to pay and I didn't have enough. It was then explained to me if I wanted to hold my sweet baby as he dies I am charged 40 dollars more. I really think this policy needs to be re-evaluated. My cat was suffering and needed to be set free. In that moment I had no fight in me. But now I'm just appalled.
Everyone is always so helpful and caring! Thanks for all you do for our babies!
