Wonderful place to stay. Great staff
Excellently location next to The Strand in Galveston. Tall, spacious, well appointed suite. Towel warmer, authentic brick from the historic building. So much interest in the rooms, and the history of the location. Exceptional, prompt service when we requested more towels (brought safely in a touch free bag to our room). Just lovely and clean. Highly recommend.

Nice story behind the Hotel !
The roof top bar is great. One word of caution - if you get any snacks watch out for the birds. The waiter delivered the free bar ‘snacks mix’ and as soon as he set it on the table we were in a Hitchcock scene. One bird dive bombed and dug in the bowl. The less aggressive 10-15 birds circled about 5 feet above calling for their share. Good times :)
Lovely stay. Room could have been cleaner.
