I warn you: If you are a working ADULT and value peace and quiet, DO NOT (I repeat) DO NOT move here. I lived him from 2021-2026 and saw the management shift from CIM to Berkshire. During that time, Trellis House was unofficially converted into a de facto Howard University DORM where (by my estimates) 75-80% of its residents are under 21 years old. There's endless marijuana (and cigarette) smoking in this supposed 'smoke-free' building, loud music playing into the wee hours of the morning (3-4 AM), and the consequence(s) of ... read more
This is not a luxury complex. It's full of Howard University college students who smoke throughout the building. Also, there's endless noise (booms and bangs) from the CrossFit gym they rented retail space to on the 1st floor. If you value peace, quiet, and smoke-free living, do NOT move here. Edit: Despite the 'owner' attempting to backfill people's old reviews by claiming that 'things have changed', that is NOT the case. Animal feces/piss is regularly left in the hallways/stairways for custodians to clean the next day, saw my 1st mouse on my floor this year after being her for 3 years, trash is almost always left on the floors of the trash rooms and not placed in the shoots, gym equipment has recently gone missing the past year and never replaced, immense noise during quiet hours (coming from colleges students).
