I would like to know how an employee wearing a scarf derails the image of bakery, especially one which is located in a multicultural city such as Houston. Your employees should represent the diverse set of customers y'all serve. As a Houstonian I am saddened that one of your employee's was asked to forgo one of her rights as an American just so she could fit an "image".
I recently learned that an employee was discriminated against for wearing the hijab. Treat Gourmet Cupcakes is not above the law. Despite the fact that this prejudice is ILLEGAL, she was still discouraged and talked down to for her religious garb. Reprehensible behavior.
