I am a referral coordinator at a local doctors office that has been trying to get a patient a mobility scooter for months now with Travis Medical. They have dropped the ball on this so many times it is unbelievable. Once I send documentation they are requesting I am told everything will be reviewed and sent to Medicare. I won't hear from them for weeks and when I call to check status they state it is still being reviewed or they are missing documentation. Grossly incompetent staff since being bought out by another company. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. If someone can explain how a company can submit an authorization to the WRONG insurance company after being provided the correct information TWICE I’d love to hear it.
