First I will say that the staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The building and rooms are visibly aged, but as mentioned above it is clean. Breakfast is a pre-bagged assortment of a muffin, a piece of fruit, and a yogurt, if you have no preferences or dislikes this is an efficient way to prevent waste or excessive loss for the motel. Rooms are dated garbage with ac that doesn't work. $250 a night with 3 miserable kids now, won't be back. Really tired of the sub par garbage hotels in this town that put zero effort in with zero accountability. Side note, staff are lovely.

Booked because of pool, breakfast included and location. The only good...location. Pool was disgusting, could see brown ring around entire pool that was at least 6 inches wide, floor was visibly dirtyy, moldy and the whole area poorly maintained. Not to mention no towels, so you have to use towels from your room for your shower.. Very disappointed the be told you get a bagged breakfast, stale muffin, yogurt, banana and a kids juice box. To start off the room was clean. Front desk lady was great. However the rooms do not have a secondary lock so with kids, your little can just turn the lever and open it. Especially since the door is light. Photos are very deceiving. Holes were patched on the bathroom door but not properly sanded and painted. Windows have no screens. Window locks are loose. 2 Hotels w/ the same name (uptown and downtoon) We were downtown... Rooms average. Has an indoor pool. Situated along a busy (main?) road....
