You know I used to think $20,000 was a lot of money, not so munch anymore. We paid about $23,000 for our train trip through Travel Brokers and they taught me that that was not a lot of money. They taught me that loosing 2 whole days in the middle of our trip was nothing to worry about. Through a scheduling snafu on their part was nothing to worry about. It actually started 3 months before our trip even began. When we first bought the trip they gave us an itinerary of the trip and then in the spring they changed our hotel in ... read more
Hey folks how you doing? I haven't written anything about Travel Brokers in a while. Not because they have been doing good things, but I have been busy. They are still at it. If you really want to celebrate a big event then have Travel Brokers set up a trip for you. Then if things don't go as planned you will always have their sympathy, and everybody knows what that is worth. A buck and a half and their sympathy is worth a cup of coffee just about anywhere. Boy our 50th. wedding anniversary was ruined by Travel Brokers, but ... read more
Well it has been a while. I haven't written a review lately. I don't have a good reason for that. Travel Brokers are still doing what they do best, take advantage of folks who only want to travel. They really hooked us. On an almost $23,000 trip because of scheduling we lost out on a 2 night stay in a cabin in Yellowstone. But Travel Broker went to bat for us and said " WE ARE SO SORRY ". And that is all we got out of it, " WE ARE SO SORRY ". Well with that and about a buck and a half you can get a cup of coffee just about ... read more
Well if you read the review just ahead of this one it is glowing about Travel Brokers. The only thing wrong about it is it was written by Travel Brokers and they like to pull their own chain. Believe me they are not that great. Our trip was all but ruined and so far all they say is " WE ARE SO SORRY ". These people are not professional. We were left high and dry and was told " WE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU " $23,000 for our trip. Travel Brokers had no trouble taking the money but they did have trouble fulfilling the trip. So far ... read more
Well I haven't written a review in a while. This is not because I am still not happy, it is just that my ink pen was so hot. Well it has cooled off and I am ready to go again. Travel Brokers has done so much to try and help us out. First they relieved us of about $23,000 so we didn't have to worry about what we were going to do with that. That was a big help so now we don't have to worry about what we were going to do with that. They said they were there to help, and when we needed it they were there with " WE ARE SO SORRY "... read more
Travel Brokers will try to keep me quiet but they done pissed me off. They completely mishandled our trip. It was mishandled when it happened and it was even worse when we returned home. To top it all off they are still doing it today. It all started 3 months before we ever left when they changed our room in Salt Lake City, we just didn't know it. Because of their scheduling snafu we missed a connection to Yellowstone and a 2 night stay in a cabin. Because of our age we will probably never be within 500 miles of Yellowstone ... read more
These are not SCRUPULOUS people, stay away. We booked a trip last summer thru Travel Brokers on Amtrak, all the way to the west coast. It was to celebrate our 50th. wedding anniversary. Not so much, because when we reached Salt Lake City, because of a scheduling snafu by Travel Brokers we missed a connection to Yellowstone and a 2 night stay in a cabin. Before we left on our trip this was abig talking point, now they don't want to talk about it at all. Included in our trip we paid about $2500 for trip insurance, and was told... read more
Well here we are one year sense we went on our trip. Doesn't seem like a year but time flies when you are our age. Our 50th wedding anniversary was supposed to be special and it was. The trip we went on thru Travel Brokers was great until it wasn't. When the wheels came off in Salt Lake City Travel Brokers was so sorry. Even with $2500 worth of trip insurance all they were was " SO SORRY ". They offered to help us on our next booking, which is what their insurance is all about. After they screw up and messed our trip up w... read more
Hey Travel Brokers I didn't want you to think I forgot you. Nobody knows how long they are going to live but if I am alive I will never forget you. Well this is what happened, long before we left on our trip we got notified that our hotel got changed in Salt Lake City. There was no reason just changed. I believe this is where the wheels came off, but we weren't sharp enough to see it. We arrived in Salt Lake at 3:10 A.M., only 5 minutes late, not bad. By the time we got to our hotel it was after 4 A.M. They wanted us to chec... read more
