I am having a tough time trying to understand how Travel Brokers stays in business. After the way they screwed us and then their solution, wow it is amazing. They left us high and dry in Salt Lake City for 2 days on a about $23,000 trip. But then to make up for it they were willing to help us out on our next purchase. If you looking for something good said about Travel Brokers this is not the place for you. Travel Brokers of Grand Blanc Mi. will screw you in a heart beat. But not to worry they will make it up to in your next purchase. All you do is spend more money and they will help you out. We are not sure who is more to blame Amtrak or Travel Brokers. All I am positive about is the fact we are out about $23,000. We did not loose it all because we did have a pretty good trip. The only thing was we lost 2 whole days in Salt Lake City and Travel Brokers will only compensate us if we purchase another trip. Does that sound right to anyone? We still think about how excited we were when we signed up for 50th. anniversary celebration trip. Our excitement soon withered when we got home and found out Travel Brokers were " SO SORRY " but that was all. They got us stranded in Salt Lake City for 2 whole days because of a scheduling snafu caused by them. We lost 2 days in a cabin in Yellowstone. You would think I would be getting tired of writing a review of Travel Brokers. But that is not the case, because if I can save one person from making our mistake, then it will have been worth it. Be careful they kind of sneak up on you. They let you know that everything will be OK, but only in there favor. A few words, " DON'T WORRY WE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU ", and everything will be OK. Boy I'll tell you what, If Travel Brokers is the best travel agency in Genesee Co., then we are in trouble. There can't be much to pick from. My loss not yours yet. They helped us get rid of almost $23,000 which we had no idea of what to do with. In the process they helped us almost destroy our 50th. wedding anniversary. You know I used to think $20,000 was a lot of money, not so munch anymore. We paid about $23,000 for our train trip through Travel Brokers and they taught me that that was not a lot of money. They taught me that loosing 2 whole days in the middle of our trip was nothing to worry about. Through a scheduling snafu on their part was nothing to worry about.
