My favorite Italian restaurant! – Trattoria Stella is an outstanding small-scale eatery in a neighborhood that is currently changing quite a bit. It's a great choice in an area with lots of good choices. Seats around 30, small, cozy and romatic. My husband and I live in Ft. Collins, but we always make it a point to visit Trattoria Stella at least twice monthly. I have never had a bad dish here, but my favorite is the lunch-time creamy sausage sandwich. Yes, the name sounds like it would be terrible, but the dish is positivel... read more

STELLA! Brunch – I've taken friends to Stella's for Brunch through the years, and they've all been impressed. They have delicious Peach Bellinis to go with your breakfast polenta. Take note, however, as they don't take reservations, and the wait on Sunday morning can be upwards of an hour. But now that you know that, take the hour and stroll around the shops in Highland Square.

Promise, but no delivery. – Not impressed. The service was extremely slow--we had to wait 30 minutes for one of two availbe tables to be cleaned off. The bread was fine. The olive oil and balsamic was run-of-the-mill. The service never picked up. I ordered the special which was two lamb chops over a few stuffed raviolis. The ravioli was fine but I was told at the last moment that they were out of lamb chops. So I felt I had no choice because we couldn't wait another hour for another dish and the waiter said she'd take off pa... read more

This Highlands Italian restaurant boasts a popular patio, surprising pastas and a great brunch. – In Short Tucked amid 32nd Avenue shops, this one-room space is crowded with tables. In warm weather, a terraced patio offers the top seats and fills up early. Entrees include mustard and Brie pasta tossed with portobello mushrooms and broccoli. The best meal of the week is brunch. Crepes packed with seasonal fruit, a new frittata every week and generous use of cheese in scrambles and omelettes make this place well-worth a Sunday... read more

Fabulous Pasta, superb dessert – My favorite restuarant in Denver. I've been there dozens of times, and the food is always great and affordable. My favorite dish is currently the Pesto Cream Fusili, and I like it with a bit of chicken breast for a little more protein. My former favorite, which I hope will make a comeback, was the pork loin pasta with a tomato cream sauce, and my husband's favorite was the ravioli fungi. Also, the lasagna specials tend to be excellent as well. For an appetizer, the warm gorgonzola spread is w... read more

Great Restaurant in a Great Neighborhood. – We met two other couples for dinner at Stella's a few weekends ago. The food was great. Three of us got the nightly special which was linguine and clams. It was so good. I also ordered a dinner salad and asked the server which dressing was best. She recommended a vinegarette that was phenomenal! It was a great night. If you're going on a weekend night I'd highly suggest reservations - this place seats about two dozen and fills up quick; we saw quite a few people waiting for a long ... read more

Stella!!!!!!! – Tried this Highlands eatery last Friday evening for dinner. Had no reservation but was seated within 15 minutes. The outdoor patio where we were seated is crowded but charming. We stared with the warm Whipped Gorganzola & Walnut Spread. It was sensational! Very creative as well as delicious. For my entree I tried the 32nd Avenue Pasta - an imaginative dish featuring goat cheese, walnuts, dried cherries, and shrimp. Believe it or not, the flavors work well together. The wine list was limited, but appropriate a... read more

Mmmmmmm!!! – This is a place we frequent on the weekends for brunch. Everything is always delicious. The italian bean breakfast is to die for. Dont miss out on the dessert either. Service is always super friendly. Feels very homey to me. If you like Bloody Marys then look no further, the mix is made in house. My only complaint is that the place is too small!

Soooo Good – That's all there is to it. Stella's is so so so good. The food is amazing. I would highly recommend the baked brie appetizer and the 32nd Street Pasta. Make sure you save room for dessert because all of them are spectacular.
