If you love flies with your pasta...... – We used to like this restaruant when it was clean - the tables and floors are scary dirty. We used to enjoy the friendly hard working staff. We didn't enjoy the new found self importance there. Check out their cell phone policy. Let's see.....Attitude, dirt, and marginal food....and several fabulous restaurants within walking distance....life is good....
Ewe! – Everything about my experience at this restaurant was bad. Will someone please tell the staff at Stella that they are in the SERVICE industry and that no matter how busy they get they are not as fantastic as they think they are. The menu actually states "server will not approach the table if you are on your cell phone." I have no problem not being on my phone, this IS rude, but come on! OMG- GROSS!! – "EWWWWWWWW....! This place is just wrong!! Someone/ anyone call the department of health (can't say the actual health *&^%^&) - this place is DIS-gusting!! Self important hostesses, crappy service (LOVE that blurb on the bottom of the menu), 9 million flies buzzing around my head, DIRTY/ wobbly tables, and sticky chairs, and the WORST THING: the food gave me the *&^%- HATED everything about this place!!
Oh the wait – On a Friday night you realize that you are going to wait awhile with a group of 4. BUT.... you expect to be told you are going to wait. We showed up at 7pm and were told there would be a little wait. One hour and fifteen minutes later we finally sat down. New Favorite Restaurant! – Tried Stella's recently on a Saturday night with no reservation. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a table of two. Once seated, our waiter was very attentive. The brie appetizer, pasta, salad and dessert we ordered had the most wonderful flavor! The tastes reminded me of another favorite restaurant, Cafe Star. High quality ingredients, eclectic menu – Great food, and really good service too. I would highly recommend this place. Not for big groups though.
No good for groups – Good food , ok sevice, but don't bother coming with a group of 3 or more! I had a bad experience about amonth ago with a group of 4. they don't take reservations but " you can call and put your name on the waiting list up to 30 min. before you arrive" they told me. So what! here is the deal , the place is so small if you try to go on a saturday night at 7 the place is full so you wait for one of the few 4 top tables. which dosn't get free until 9:00pm. BEST BRUNCH IN DENVER – i think that this is the best brunch place in denver. (besides dazzle, which is a cheaper alternative) stella has the most delicious bellini's to compliment any of the entree choices. all of the strata's are delicious, as well as the crepes. the crab / lobster bennie is always fantastic. they have a very innovative menu pairing goat cheese, fruites, and delicious flavors all together.
Bountiful Culinary Flavor Combinations! – This delightful neighborhood spot in the Denver Highlands at 32nd and Lowell is just bursting with memoralbe experiences within its understanded facade. Everytime I eat at Stella I'm delighted by the variety of flavors and innovative dishes. I usually order from the specials menu, because the offerings are so inventive, but I can recommend the Fried Risotto Ball Appetizer as well as anything from the dessert menu will surely please you.
