At home on the West Coast we had streamed an episode of 'Wisconsin Foodie' featuring this restaurant. We knew we would be in Wisconsin visiting family in August and decided to make a reservation at Trattoria Stefano to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. It exceeded our expectations. The food was skillfully prepared and delicious. Our waiter, Reed, was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and truly helped to make the dining experience one we will always remember.

For the cost you would think they’d refill the bread brought to the table and serve it with cracked paper or some sort of dried herbs along with olive oil. Also surprising that some bread and/or salad doesnt come with the entree. $9 for bland “tomato soup” was disappointing. It shouldnt cost an extra $2 to have fresh parmesan added to a dish. That was my groups discussion after eating there and being nit picky, overall we enjoyed the food/service/experience/ambience and agreed we would likely eat there again.
