disappointed – My first experience with Trashy Roots was a little overwhelming. I chose the owner, Anna, thinking "most experienced". She did an ok job but talked nonstop and loudly! I go there to relax not to have twenty questions, and personal ones at that, thrown my way. I switched stylist. Lacey was great! She took so much time with me and did an awesome job. So sparkly and great – Tuessday was my first time in this salon. I had such a great time. Brandi was so friendly and knowledgeable. She listened to me and made me look like a princess. I'm so glad my friends referred me. I will be back soon. This salon is awesome. It was nice and quiet and relaxing too.
Gina is so cool – Gina did my hair Saturday for the first time, she's so cool. I loved talking to her. I was in and out of there so fast and she did exactly what I wanted. I will be back and my sister is coming to see her today. Thanks again. I'm so glad that this salon is close to my house too.
You dont need to be nasty! – I had been talking with the owner via email for 3 months and was forthcoming about the fact that I was about to graduate from cosmetology school. Well after I graduated I wanted to call, emailng is slow and I was excited to finally interview. When I told the owner who I was and why I was calling she sighed all irritated and snapped at me. Quality rather than Quantity – Hi my name is Andy and I'm a mild case OCD. I'm that guy that inspects several cases of the same packaging before purchasing an item, and I happen to come upon Trashy Roots a short while back. When first pulling up to the center there's plenty of spacious parking spaces to choose from. As you enter the space the impression is striking in a vibrant, chic and memorable way. I finally found the perfect salon – This is such a great salon. I felt at home here. They were having a little Birthday Party for one of the Stylists while I was there. It was so sweet and so much fun. It is really a great place. My hair looked so good. Julie did exactly what I wanted. I've been going to her for a while and she's a good stylist. She seems so happy there. I just got my free haircut there too for referring my mom and sisters, yeah. Thanks Jules.
Pink & Skulls – What a perfect combination. My sister told me to come here. It's great!!!!! Kelly is a saint she saved my fried hair. I looked like a sizzled chicken till she put this crazy cool stuff in little bottles in the back on my hair, what a godsend. I'm in love. I've found my salon. It's only like 2 minutes from my house, not downtown like those overpriced salons. I love Kelly.
Nothing Special – I came here to get my hair done didn't enjoy the experience to much. They didn't listen to what i was saying. Not coming back here.
Highly recommend – Just want to say how thrilled I am to have found Trashy Roots Salon. I moved here from Dallas and loved the salon I had been going to for years. I really dreaded having to look for a new salon and stylist. A co-worker told me about the place -- so I tried it this last weekend. Boy, am I glad I did!!! The place was fun and funky and I left with a great hair cut. I plan to go back and get some funky color next time.
