Due to start working in a new office out of town on Monday and these guys worked their rear ends off to guarantee that I am able to get to there. Had my car done in a matter of days!!! They worked beyond "business hours", 100% dedicated to customer service !! Can not say enough positive things about this company they are truly one of a kind!

I have only great things to say about Transmission World!!! I have been a long time customer as my family has also.. They take care of all my families cars from regular maintenance to major repair.. Fair prices, Quality Work and people who care!! you could not ask for more!

I was panicked to say the least when my car started acting up. Like most of us these days I am struggling to make ends meet and with the holidays around the corner I was sure I would be choosing between fixing my car and Christmas for my children. These guys rock! took my truck to another transmission shop first that told me the torque converter was coming apart. My instincts were good that day. I brought it to them and they diagnosed an engine miss within a couple of hours. A tune-up solved my problem. There was nothing wrong with the transmission at all! Thanks guys!

On my way to Fl. after visiting family in Illinois, my van started to slip. In a panic and being so far from home I decided to get a motel room in Knoxville. I love Jim Ray and all the good folks at Transmission World! As a woman, I always dread taking my car to be serviced. At most other service centers, I have been met with a condescending attitude and have left feeling that I was taken advantage of. Not so at Transmission World! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I would NEVER go to transmission world. They start off very helpful. After arriving at their shop, my front windshield was broken and they refused to pay for it. Then I was still having problems with the transmission and when I took it back to them, they said there was nothing WRONG WITH IT. Shortly after the warranty expired, the torque converter went out again, at my expense. PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!!!
