Very disappointing experience. My rental application was held for 15 days without any email or phone update. I had to call today to find out that it had been rejected. I was told the reason was “poor rental history,” even though I have lived at my current property since December 2022. The communication was very poor, and I believe applicants should be informed promptly and given a clear explanation instead of being left waiting for over two weeks.
Very disappointing experience. Communication was extremely poor, with responses taking far too long and, in some cases, no response at all. We submitted all the required documents for our rental application and waited around two weeks without receiving a proper update. When we did communicate, it was sometimes difficult to understand the information being provided, which made the process even more frustrating. I was a tenant managed by this dishonest, rude and aggresive agent and had a very stressful experience that ultimately proceeded to VCAT. Shortly after moving in, the property was placed on the market and I was required to accommodate a large number of inspections throughout the tenancy. Many of these were arranged with very short notice, and the frequency and handling of inspections made it difficult to live in the property normally.
