I had a 1030 appointment to have brake work. It was a 3 hour drive for me. I arrived an hour early, but was told to come at 1030. When I got there, the place was a zoo. If I had arrived at 930, my 1030 appointment would have held up. It was almost 330 when I left. $414 for brake pads on the rear and change brake fluid. I felt like not only was I held hostage, but robbed.

Diane, This is from our service manager: I had a chance to review the comments made by Mrs. Laughlin. I spoke with the scheduler and the ASM. The customers drop off time was scheduled for 10:30 and the promise time given at that time was 3:30 to check a brake noise concern. The ASM confirmed the promise time at write up. Upon inspection the ASM advised the customer the rear brakes were the cause of the customers concern and the brake fluid was a maintenance item and a fluid exchange was recommended. Very disappointed in Toyota of Santa Fe, we purchased a vehicle from them thru are bank. I asked them specifically not to run our credit, they gave a song and dance about how the government required them to obtain my social. Well surprise, surprise there is a hard inquiry on my credit report. I am very upset I was lied to so buyer be aware.
