In negotiations for a new car we talked about an offer for my trade in. After I got home I looked at the bill of sale and saw two things. First, I was given less for the trade in than discussed. Second, the car I bought, was sold to me over MSRP. You might think that dealerships can do that and they can, but not when they advertise the car for a price which was my case (google bait and switch) and sell it for another. So in a nutshell don’t look at the prices in their website, that means nothing. Buy somewhere else.

Townsend Honda Great dealer, service is top notch,parts department is very effective and staff seem very helpful and courteous. Building a new showroom, boy! was this needed and I look forward to the opening.

Satisfied customer I have bought two hondas from this particular dealership and have been very pleased. Jane was very helpful in locating my last one and getting me a good deal. Marvin in service is great.

Switching from Toyota to Honda My mother, after being a Toyota fan for a number of years, purchased a Civic Hybrid from Townsend. She loves it! And she brags on the service department--no problems, understand--just the usual maintenance. Thanks for taking good care of my mom. Recently purchased a vehicle from here. Brody, Brian, & Todd were very unprofessional and manipulative. All they care about is making a sell. Will never purchase another vehicle from here!

On our way out of town for the first time in a year, my wife, four kids, and I broke down outside of Tuscaloosa. Not only did the folks at Townsend send a courtesy shuttle to pick up my family, but they also worked outside of regular hours to fix our car AND rented us a car (spring break had depleted all nearby options) so that we could continue our trip with as little inconvenience as possible.
