With sincerity, pride, and dedication, we are holding true to this time-honored tradition. In 1949, Wendell Townley, along with his wife, Jane, bought the home from the Leffingwall Family. Together, they raised their five children there and established a long standing commitment to the community. In 1971, Harold Townley and his brother, Frank Townley, came home from Korea and attainted their funeral directing licenses. I strongly recommend that anyone who is going through an unfortunate loss use Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home - They are not only the most up to date with COVID-19 policy, they are also the most professional and caring team I have had the grace of meeting. When we said goodbye to my grandmother early this year their team handled every last breath that was necessary. During this trying time of COVID-19, my sister-in-law was laid to rest at this beautiful and loving place. Kathy, the owner was amazing. Amy list her life to cancer, but in the current environment, of course only immediate family was allowed to attend in person. They had the most amazing tele-drive up that allowed loved ones to pay their respects without the worry of viral spread. They also set up a Facebook live feed. Living care meets technology in a seamless way. Thank you TWFH! 💕
Kathleen and her team did a great job for our family handling my fathers wake and funeral in January. We had a large turnout(few hundred) at the wake which was the biggest challenge and was very well managed. Thanks to Kathleen and her team. We are grateful !!
My sister recently passed away. Our family had used Townley & Wheeler for many years, mother, father, brother, aunts, uncle & cousins. Even though it was under new management we decided to stick with them. Kathleen was fantastic. They were all amazing. Everyone was so accommodating, helpful, pleasant & I can’t think of enough adjectives to use for them. I can’t say enough good things about the sincere level of care and detailed, above and beyond service provided to us by Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home. Funeral Director Kathleen and husband Zoltan make an amazing team.
