In 2014 & 2015 Towne South was named one of the LSU Top 100 Tiger Owned Businesses. We are also proud to be the first AAHA accredited clinic in Shreveport. We have held our AAHA accreditation since 2007.

My grand puppies were boarded there lying pics covered blankets and mo water. They should be shut down immediately. My daughter had to call the police to retrieve her dogs. Then they overcharged her. Pass poor service. Do not trust them!!!
They are absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond and you can tell they honestly care about your animals. We had to put our girl down and they sent a card with hand written notes from every one there.
Dr. Hunter and the staff at Towne South are the best. We are from Texas and are so thankful for saving our Odie. He’s been in the hospital for a week now and Dr. Hunter has spent countless hours trying to find a diagnosis to help Odie before it was too late. We are so thankful for her and the staff for everything they did!!
On Friday, August 28, 2020, we brought my daughter's beloved companion, Bleu Cheese, in for the first time because he was experiencing shortness of breath and pain. Dr. Mackey saw him and did a thorough workup and with the utmost kindness explained that our baby had pneumonia and our likely metastatic prostate cancer creating myriad of other problems. Our cat, Aggie, just had her first successful visit in YEARS, and it is all thanks for Dr. Mackey and the wonderful staff at Towne South! Dr. Mackey and her staff met with us before the initial visit to come up with a plan to safely sedate our cat, so that the check-up would be as thorough as possible. This has been a tough week for us. We almost lost our sweet girl, Dakota. It has been too difficult to talk about.. until now.
