I have lived in an apartment complex that Towne Properties recently bought for two years (going on 3), and had the unfortunate luck of renewing my lease right when the property was changing hands. I was hoping things would get better, but they only got worse. Every month since they took over I have had to fight bogus charges I don't owe, they even tried to charge me two months of rent for June (which we had to fight over multiple days to correct). This company is SO shady. Our shower door broke months ago. The glass just shattered one day. We did absolutely nothing to cause this (I am assuming it was installed incorrectly, bc this place was clearly built quickly and lacks quality all over) took them over a week to fix for us. And then they had the audacity to blame us for it. We absolutely didn't cause the shower door to shatter. They said we would have to pay for it, AFTER they fixed it.
