Great selection of books, if they don’t have it they’ll get it for you. Very friendly and their lunch menu is fantastic!
The cafe attached to the book store is very quaint and serves delicious soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts! My favorite place for lunch! It is nice to browse in the book store as well.
I’ve been going to Town House Books since a child. It’s a staple for St. Charles and is the perfect place to pick out your next read and have a wonderful meal—on your own or meeting friends for a book club chat. Even if you’re not a reader, the incredible ambiance will draw you in with it’s classic charm. I would recommend this spot for any visiting beautiful St. Charles as it’s right by the shopping and the river walk!
