Fabulous Independent Book Seller!
Town House Books in St. Charles is just a charming little book store! It's so easy to get lost in their little nooks and crannies and end up with some really great books. You're not going to find bargain prices, but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. The attached cafe is also great, offering upscale lunches as well as Sunday Brunch. Definitely a treat for the more refined palate (although, they have offerings for everyone).

Great Book Store
This Book store is perfect! It carries many books, including hard to find favorites. Its atmosphere is very inviting. The cafe attached is also a wonderful place to read and eat!

Townhouse books got me hooked on reading when I was a kid living in St Charles in the 90s. They always had a great selection and a staff that knew what books to recommend for me. 30 years later, Iām still an avid reader thanks to the great people who worked here and encouraged my enthusiasm.

Visited here 2 years ago. Had lunch and browsed all the different rooms. Great ambience and atmosphere coupled with a beautiful setting.

Wonderful old-timey book store with attached cozy coffee shop in downtown St. Charles. Great place to meet up with friends for lunch or dessert.
