I had an appointment at 10:30 on Friday August 22 with Tower Marina Del Rey. The appointment was verified by phone Thursday. I was five minutes late because of parking. The receptionist told me my appointment was 10:15 and was 45 minutes late and wait. If I did not like it I could go so I left. This also reflects on the doctor and Tower because she was shouting and I am 83 and in a wheelchair. Think before you make an appointment.
I had a consult with Dr. Samouhi and it went well. I really really liked her. I got a prescription for MRI and did not get it approved by my insurance. The request did not have the required information such as x-ray notes. I followed up with the office to request that they provide insurance additional information and I had a difficult time getting that done. I've had a sharp pain on the ball of my right foot for about a year. I looked online and suspected it to be my sesamoid bone, which can flare up as inflammation. After two acupuncture sessions and it didn't feel any better I searched my AETNA insurance network and made an appointment with the first guy on the list with UCLA. (I was told to choose UCLA because it's the best network.) Luckily that doctor canceled on me and I found Dr. Massaband instead, who happens to be biking distance to me and by the marina.
