Doctors are fine but watch out for Yvette the front office receptionist and her attitude. I had a family emergency and realized I had an appointment 20 minutes late. I called their office and spoke to Norine. Who recommended I come in anyway. I of course apologized for my mistake. When I got to the office Yvette proceeded to admonish and berate me for being late. I had an appointment at 10:30 on Friday August 22 with Tower Marina Del Rey. The appointment was verified by phone Thursday. I was five minutes late because of parking. The receptionist told me my appointment was 10:15 and was 45 minutes late and wait. If I did not like it I could go so I left. This also reflects on the doctor and Tower because she was shouting and I am 83 and in a wheelchair. Think before you make an appointment.
I had a consult with Dr. Samouhi and it went well. I really really liked her. I got a prescription for MRI and did not get it approved by my insurance. The request did not have the required information such as x-ray notes. I followed up with the office to request that they provide insurance additional information and I had a difficult time getting that done.
