I've already referred friends to Dr. Fakhoury!
I love my doctor! I've been trying to get my family members that has these issues to go to him, but it's such a long drive and hours away. We don't have the money to travel but I praise his work and advice. He has worked wonders with and for me, and has prevented several seizures that could have happened, and luckily, didn't. My emergency seizure spray has helped me so much, and the medicine he has me on. I have always recommended Dr. Fakhoury! From the first time I was sent to him he has always listened and cared!
Dr.Fakhoury is an awesome doctor!! He has shown my daughter nothing but kindness and concern for her seizures. He takes his job very seriously. I would recommend him to anyone needing a neurologist. He has been a blessing to my family and a prayer answered at a time when I felt like my world and my daughters world was falling apart.
Very pleased with the care
Dr. Fakhoury is great at providing explanations for your condition. The main issue is building rapport with the patient. He did some things like pull out his phone mid-conversation without excusing himself (not sure if he was texting someone in the office) as well as stating that the was leaving the room to check on test results (when he could be overheard immediately in the next room to start and finish another patient's visit). It made for some very awkward pauses in the visit and trying to stay focused.
Dr. Fakhoury is a knowledgeable, caring physician.
He is empathic and very knowledgeable! His staff is very professional as well as welcoming!
My dad had brain surgery in 1998 and started having seizures. He went to a local neurologist in our hometown that put him on medications and kept increasing them until dad was overdosing himself. I personally researched head neurologists at UK hospital and found Dr Fakhoury. He saved my dads life. Dad went from having multiple seizures a week to having 1 a year to none for many years. I can not recommend another neurologist that’s any better. He’s intelligent, keeps UTD on new treatments and very compassionate.
