Periodontal Maintenance (Tooth Cleaning) I had periodontal surgery by Dr. Sakurai many years ago and since then I have been coming to Dr. Sakurai and now Dr. Yamada for cleaning and checkup every four months. I take good care of my teeth and mouth, so the cleanings do not typically find problems. Today I had my cleaning done for the first time in my life by a young man.
