Great beer selection, amazing food, awesome atmosphere.
I have been coming here for months now and tonight experienced a VERY RUDE blonde female bartender who also lied to me about the alcohol percentage on the beers as well as the specials going on, and got very aggressive when I very nicely explain to her the mistake she made serving me, twice in a row now...(keep in mind I tipped her both times as well and wasn't being verbal or rude the slightest nor was I drunk, this was my first beer...) I believe the "City Of The Dead" by Modern Times is also 7.5%, not 10% like I was told ... read more
great beer great staff! One of the best bars in San Diego
My absolute favorite go to bar. The staff are always friendly and helpful and extremely knowledgeable; I love them! And the selection is incredible
I'm pretty sure my brother and I walked out 2 customers that we didn't even know. As we left, they cleaned up and they took my brothers $100 bottle of cable car that he bought. Out glasses were at lest half full (about 1/4 bottle left) away as we took there customers out. Upon our return, the beer was gone!!! Because it was Pliny the younger release, since we share seats with other beer lovers...naturally they must be our friends and our responsibility and we should suffer the consequence. Worst service ever. New Year's Eve my girl asked bartender for a Stella. The asshole behind the bar threw her a 5 page drink menu and said nothing. So after 15 minutes looking through menu trying to decide what to drink and no one else acknowledging our presence, I hold up my hand and start waving my hand to the bartender girl who did nothing but sarcastically mocking me. I said "what the hell we've been waiting here 15 minutes with no service!" To which she replied "look around dude you are gonna be waiting 15 more minutes"... read more
We stop in on our resent trip to San Diego. Great selection of Draft and bottle Craft beers to chose from. It is worth the stop.
