First time here. Heard so many great things but the bartenders are really rude. It's a saturday night and busy. I think it's to be expected that it would be a bit crazy. Don't work on a busy Saturday when you can't handle it and you start to get an attitude with sober customers!
Stumbled into heaven with this place! My wife and I had a fantastic experience here with Val as our bartender and .... the guy from Arkansas (so sorry we forget your name!) Val's passion and love of craft beer was evident in her knowledge and recommendations of local breweries and restaurants to check out! We will make sure our Philly beer loving friends make a stop to Toronado when visiting San Diego! Thank you again!!
If you're thinking about Toronado, please don't. Not sure if they're anti gay or what, but I have never encountered such hostility. Simply asking about the menu brought me the most antagonistic behavior I have ever encountered at a restaurant or bar.
Rude staff! Don't go there!
Apparently civil rights don't apply here. Being kicked out for being with a gay partner is more than a one time thing for my friends and I. It's 2016, get with the times.
