Went for a friends birthday and it was wonderful! Definitely on the pricy side and a place you'd wanna wear a dress/ dress shirt to. But beautiful views of Boston and they had a live jazz band in the lounge that we enjoyed with drinks after a wonderful salmon dinner!
Best bacon cheeseburger I've ever had! Loved to sit in the window and look out at one of my newest favorite cities.
I had called a week in advance and specifically asked for a table by the window as this was a special occasion for me and my other half.. when we got there we were seated beside kitchen area , we're servers were coming in and out in and out, and not by the window. I was disapointed with the food. Expected a much higher level. The view of course is outstanding. Service was Great. Highlights were the Lobster bisque and the Tuna tartar. Don't order the scallops! They were unseasoned, seemed even cold. Came with a tiny bit if what seemed like mashed potatoes, but jad no taste. Not at all like the picture they have in their webpage.

My boyfriend and I visited Top Of The Hub last year and again just a few days ago for our anniversary. We both have nothing but great things to say about the service, atmosphere and food! What this place lacks in character and identity a la trying too hard to be a "fine dining meets jazz lounge" it makes up for with a great view of the back bay of Boston and excellent food! The crisis here is really managerial in nature seeing as I was accosted by the front desk staff who clearly have traveled as far as their waterfront to mock a gentleman for wearing an unacceptable item - my fedora, which goes against their smart "dress code."
