The receptionist is absolutely terrible and needs to be fired, in my opinion. She leaves the phone off and linked directly to voicemail so that she doesn’t have to answer the phone. Between both numbers that are available, I have called 93 times in 15 minutes and each time it goes straight to voicemail. For a psychiatry office, this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. How can somebody with mental illness that DOES decide to reach out get help if they can’t even get a call answered?
Update: They have added a new NP to their team that is beyond fantastic. Her name is Brandi and we have quickly become friends. She is compassionate and truly cares about what you're going through. What I especially love about Dr. Rush's Spravato clinic is that everyone on their medical staff is phenomenal and they always remember who you are, what you're dealing with, and even what you've told them about your children and family members. Have tried calling their office numerous times over several days and weeks with no answer. No website, and no easy way to get in contact with the psychiatrist, who has been okay during appointments. Unless this is your only option for psychiatry services, find any other place.
UPDATE!! STILL NEVER HAS CHECKED IN ON ME KNOWING HOW BAD MY MENTAL HEALTH IS!!! Bad experience.. was trying to get front desk to file a form..insurance said that the med they were trying to give me was not covered, so I was on phone with ins. for quite a while, with them telling me to get the office to fill out a form for an exemption..insurance faxed the form, and it showed OK on their end, front desk claimed she didn't get it..soooo I faxed and again it showed on my end it went through, again to be told she didn't get it.... read more
Pros: Televisits, so no weather or traffic issues. No waiting rooms or uncomfortable situations. The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. They keep good notes and remember important details about you that help to make you feel comfortable and at ease. You are treated as a person and not just a chart. Treatment plans are adjusted to suit you as requested. Cons: You will always get an answering machine when you call in.
