Top Notch is the worst inspector I could possibly imagine. Our roof leaked within a week of moving in. After messaging him through our realtor, he says yeah that doesn’t look right. Well, buddy! Now we are stuck with it unless we want to litigate against our sellers. Then the moisture damage. He did not moisture test the old staining. They are CURRENT leaks. We just closed on our new home in Cranston. I found Top Notch to be just that. Tony did a great job. He was very thorough, and answered all the questions I had. We had to have a few things fixed and he came back to be sure all was done. A very satisfied customer.
I do not suggest Top Notch Inspections as they are more bottom notch. The inspector who came to my condo three years ago poked his head into the attic crawl space and said everything was fine. Upon selling the condo a good inspector went up there and found that the air handler was not venting out the roof and was causing mold into the crawl space. Now it is my problem because Top Notch Inspectors were lazy and didn’t do their job correctly. If zero stars were possible that’s what they would get.
