They use to make a mean fried bologna sandwich. Haven't had the chance to go by in about 30 years. Great memories from my childhood.
Tony's Ice Cream is an icon in Gaston County. As a child , my parents and I went to McAdenville every Christmas to see the Christmas lights. Our next stop was ALWAYS Tony's Ice Cream for our favorite milkshakes. This tradition continued with my family. I hope my son will continue this tradition once he has a family. It wouldn't have been Christmas with McAdenville and Tony's!!! Happy 100th birthday, Tony's Ice Cream!

Tony's is Great ! I live in Texas but was born in Gastonia ! I used to go to Tony's all the time with my Grandma,Aunt and my mom ! My whole family Loved it there !Chili dogs ,ice cream,fried bologna sandwiches It has been a tradition ever since childhood ! I'm 55 lol Love Love Love it

I love Tony's Ice Cream!! My mother and I are there for breakfast everyday! It is the happening place to be! A wonderful place to come and just stay awhile!
Went to Tony's as a teen when attending Bible School/College in Charlotte. Brings back good memories along with some very good ice cream. Tony's also make good bergers.
You could say my second home, love the people their very nice place to be.
The best ice cream that I have ate anywhere! We now live in Texas and every time we come back to Gastonia, this is a stop we have to make.
