This place is the ultimate in dive bars and great fun! A Detroit gem unlike no other place you'll ever visit. It's the most unique place in the country. It looks like an abandoned run-down building with aged plywood sheets and crumbling brick as it's walls. But inside is a slanted floor, great people, crammed spaces and fun as hell to listen to a small band .
It is exactly what you would expect. Ron has great stories so make sure to talk to him. Nothing fancy at all. Almost felt like I was in my Grandpa's basement having drinks.

This place is a Detroit gem! There is no other bar quite like this. Great history, friendly staff, reasonable prices.
Tom's Tavern is Fantastic. Not much to look at from outside but truly a classic inside !!!!!
