Tomo Japanese Restaurant This is my absolute favorite sushi restaurant in the world. I've since moved away from Arcata, but I really miss Tomo's. They have a delicious tempura salmon roll that I love but have yet to find an another restaurant.
the BEST japanese food in the area! Tomos in Hotel Arcata is a wonderful full service resturant and sushi bar. They have everything you can think of from rolls, to baskets to full meals and always have seasonal specials that you can't find anywhere else. There is a full bar as well, don't pass up the blackberry sake margarits-delicious! The prices are very reasonable and the service is fantastic. One of the best in Nor-Cal. Simply the Bomb competes with any L.A. sushi, Anytime.A Must!! What else can you say, or add it's the sh!t, try it you'll like it!!They want me to keep adding more sh!t about this place, but like I said you'll Digg the sushi, "I put that on my Mama"!!
Like the food, dislike the blond The food has been wonderful every time myself and my friend have gone here. The servers are great as well. the one problem I have had was with the person who sat us at out table. Twice now this woman has been very rude ( the blond chubby one who works at nights) Once we asked if we could sit at the bar and she said "no you can sit here the bar is full and walked off" there were only two people sitting at the bar. Best sushi This is the best sushi i have ever had. The service has never let me down, and they have some amazing, unique appetizers. You can tell that the roles are carefully prepared. The only criticism is that its a bit pricey if you are on a college student budget, but i guess thats just how amazing sushi restaurants are.
