We stopped in to Tommyknocker the other day after 10 years or so. It truly has a great atmosphere, lots of menu options and a very cool brewery area. I am recently gluten free and am always excited to see a small menu with those options. You simply have to order without the bread at Tommyknocker. I ordered a buffalo burger without the bun and it was still great! Tommyknocker is a must-eat in Idaho Springs.

The beer here is okay, and the service is okay as well. I love the local feel, and it's great that Idaho Springs has this place. But I'd be happier if the staff, especially the bartenders, cared for the customers.
Enjoyed the beer,Great fish tacos. Loved the Indy used rum with mint and pineapple. The staff was friendly and knowledge able. Will be back.
