Editorial fromThis family-owned place most likely had the first wood-fired pizza oven in the Bay Area two generations ago. To start, ask for the radicchio with pancetta and goat cheese. Get serious with pizzas and calzones from that well-used oven. The…

Go with the Pizza – I just have one word for my review -- pizza! I went with a big group and we ordered two pizzas, among with other pasta dishes and salads. But the best was the spinach pizza. That's one of the best pizza I've had. Unfortunately, as it was on a Friday night and as we were a large(?) group of 8, we had to wait over an hour.
family atmosphere and the best spinach pizza in town – I have eaten here a few times, and I am never let down. Their pizza in not greasy and very full of flavor. This is not the greasy late night pizza you'll be craving after a few cocktails on a Friday night. This is a place to sit and relax with friends over good food and a nice bottle of wine.
Good Pizza, but not great – I made a special trip to San Fran from San Jose to try the pizza at Tommaso?s. I had a half pepperoni and sausage and half oregano, garlic, and basil pizza. The pizza was good and served hot and fresh, and the price was fine. The restaurant was busy, and I had just a few minute wait to be seated. After I was seated the service was courteous and timely. The neighborhood the restaurant is in is extremely sketchy with the adult shop next door and strip clubs/peep shows in the surrounding area, comple... read more
pizza pizza – I've had this place recommended to me time and again for it's wonderful pizza. I finally tried it and it was pretty good, but I don't really see what all the fuss is about. It's yummy but i don't think it's the best pizza i've ever had. I always go to pick it and the other food people are eating always looks good. I would recommend this place as good italian in general, but the pizza is nothing to die for.
Pizza to visit San Francisco for – Tucked between The nastiest videos in town and across from the adult peep show is this small and very cozy Italian restaurant. Went there once and loved it. The pizza is the best. Very fresh and hot without the grease. The host is a friendly man who makes an extra effort to get your seat ready as soon as possible. Because the place is small, it gets a little noisy. Not recommended for quiet romantic dinners, but recommended if youre craving good pizza! The bread olive oil and vinegar is gre... read more
Pizza that only Italians could know how to make! – This pizza is by far one of the best that I have had in SF. Very filling pizza but made with fresh ingredients that don't taste processed. I am craving it ever since!
What can I say, they're family! – Its true, I'm related to the owners through my grandfather! So needless to say, I LOVE IT! Its prettymuch the only place we go for family gatherings. I HIGHLY recommend the lasagna (its the only one I'll eat) and any of the pizzas. Also as an appetizer get the green beans and broccoli in oil and vinagre. ANd most certainly save room for dessert!
Best pizza in the city – This place is legendary. I've been here at least a dozen times and am always comment on how much I love their food. Get the spinach pizza and you won't be disappointed. YUM!!!! Another favorite is the basil pesto ravioli. The pizza is orgasmic--not to be missed.
Desserts – Save room for their creme brulee and chocolate salami (not always avail.) Or bring velcro pants so that you have enough room.
