This surgeon used to be extraordinary. Not so for the past 5-6 years. Was dismissive of me (60-something female) and as a result I had many blood clots after a shoulder replacement. Nearly cost me my life until I finally checked myself into an ER after months of feeling short of breath. Was never put on preventive blood thinner post-op—a stand practice for many orthopedic surgeons today. Not acceptable!!

Their was never a meniscus tear in any way in my knee. Paul said I had a meniscus tear in my knee and a knee bruise. Then he refused to do a scope. I had my knee scoped by another Surgeon and the tissue in my knee made the MRI look like a meniscus tear, but it never was a meniscus tear. MRI scans are not 100 percent conclusive. Had rotator cuff surgery in 2019 and was not happy with results. After surgery only felt 20% improvement. Nice guy but hard to recommend him for rotator surgery

TERRIBLE. Used to be a great surgeon 10-15 yrs. ago but now always extremely long wait times, rude reception staff and I ended up with DVTs after one of many surgeries he did for me—was never told post-op what to look for, which would’ve prevented this risk. Now I need to be on expensive blood thinner the rest of my life, plus endured long hospitalization during which time I almost died. Inexcusable!
My knee surgery was three years ago, Dr Fenton and his staff were all very gracious to me, and I began rehab the same week. My knee continues to get better and I have a good range of motion. Initially I thought I would need surgery on my other knee, but it has gotten better too! Dr Fenton explained to me how the pressure was more balanced now. I am pleased with all of it. So, yay me.
Dr Fenton preformed my knee replacements in 2016 with incredible results. I remembered hearing if I needed any medical procedures I should be on an antibiotic. I called the office and got a return call at 7:30 pm by his nurse who was still working. What an awesome group to make sure I was taken care of.
Long time patient who's had several surgeries by Dr. Fenton. Front staff very rude when trying to book an appt. He used to be exceptional, took a lot of time with each patient, etc. Lately he seems overworked and repeats everything he tells you 3-4 times during appt. Saw him for SERIOUS post-op pain that I've had for several months, had x-rays in his office. He didn't know the cause, didn't offer PT or any other advice on how to live with this pain and lack of jointfunction. I'm headed elsewhere
Dr. Fenton is very friendly, professional and straight-forward. He explained my surgical procedure in detail and answered all of my questions. He came highly recommended by family members and I am very happy with the care and treatment I have received.
