Today my kid was seen at utmc dentistry for a possible root canal this was his first patient visit. I assume they don’t deal with many kids with challenges. Once my kid was taken back and asked to sit properly to be examined issues arose and I asked if they had a butterfly strap to assist ( I know my child & I am the only person attending his appointment with him) they said that’s not something they use so we had to become the restraints with me holding my child’s arms and laying my head across his chest the resident at his ... read more
Absolutely amazing Dentists nurses and doctors. I was upset that the OR is a year away HOWEVER my 5yr old autistic daughter has several teeth to be removed they found the main one quickly removed it. It took some doing as my toddler fights to no end !! They handled it professionally, enthusiasticly, and had new ideas to get it done that I wasn't familiar with. Such a breath of fresh air for a scared stressed momma as well as my in pain and discomfort toddler. She's feeling so much better and I'm hoping this gets us through t... read more

I go to UTMC Dental there on the 6th floor. This is a teaching facility.
