The doctor was really nice and gentle, but she only offered one treatment plan which is considered experimental by the medical community, and it is never covered by insurance. Since it is expensive and may not work, it is not an option for me; however, even after asking if there were other options in her opinion, I was told, no, this is the only option. The service is prolotherapy, and since I am not able to pay up to $1,350 out-of-pocket for a treatment that may not do anything, I will have to look for another doctor.
Doctor Tolbert is a friendly, kind, intelligent doctor. I've been seeing her for many many years. Her office staff is excellent. I would recommend Dr. Tolbert to anyone.

They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. I've been to a few different doctors, and they were definitely one of the best. I was very impressed. I am extremely happy with the way my appointment went. They made a huge difference in my recovery. Just as a side note, this business is really conveniently located and is close to everything. My experience with this doctor was terrible. They were not willing to answer questions and the rehabilitation offfered did not at all seem geared to my particular problem. While the physical theraprist was very nice, I don't feel that she was experenced and couldn't answer simple questions or address the modalities and how they were releted to my problem. When I tried to speak with the doctor, she would only give general answers and wouldn't talk to me about my concerns and insisted that I make a separate appointment to see ... read more
