We were meandering down the coast yesterday, just collecting memories and stumbled on to a gem: the Tokeland Hotel. What. A. Menu! Gourmet scratch Southern cuisine coupled with a vintage hotel, craft cocktails, small town coastal charm, and “surprise and delight” spaces make you want to linger for hours. Book this for your next getaway! — with Lisa Lafferty at Tokeland Hotel.

Been here a couple times before, and it’s always a treat. The new owners have upgraded the menu and the mattresses, which is nice. Rustic with some modern touches. A true chance to get away.

Everyone should experience this fantastic 1885 built hotel in Tokeland. The hotel is historic, maybe haunted and a work in progress with wonderful new owners Heather Earnhardt and Zac Young. We stayed three nights and can’t say enough about the food and service.
