My friend and I waited 20 mins before our server even came to our table only to end up waiting another 20 before getting our drinks because they ran out of pint glasses. We even asked if our drinks could be poured into larger mason jars so we could get them and they said we would have to pay an up charge even if we didn’t get a larger drink lol. We ordered the meatloaf which came out in the time it would take to microwave the food. The roll was store bought and tasteless, the half cob of corn was obviously frozen then reheated. The mashed potatoes tasteless, which no amount of salt seemed to improve and the meatloaf itself was coated with a corn syrup ketchup which was overly sweet. Between the flies on the patio and the disappointing food I would not recommend this restaurant.
No matter what, Toast takes care of us! We love coming in for the smiling faces, friendly service - and honestly, they let us sit and play cards or read. It's wonderful! And the specials are delicious!
