Have been going here for almost 10 years for both my dogs and Dr Averitt has been wonderful!
Dr. Averitt is very in tune with the animals! Love that! Helps to make a positive visit! Office staff and techs are awesome!

They always care for each pet I have owned and always try hard to fit us in when there schedule is full and am apt is needed. So helpful to have house calls when you have a small car and 100 lb lab!

Dr. Averitt and her staff are the best caregivers ever. She's been our vet for more than 10 years and she's one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever met. When my lab, Selkie's, health was failing and I had to let her go, Dr. Averitt came to our home. You see, Selkie never liked going to the vet and always left tons of hair behind; she trembled so. This behavior had nothing to do with Dr. Averitt and her staff. Dr. Averitt and I wanted Selkie's final moment to be safe and comfortable for her; and it was.
A grateful shout out to Dr. Averitt and the staff at Toano Animal Clinic for the loving professional care to our rescue Twiggy. Took a bit of detecting and testing, but she is now on the mend.
Having lived in Williamsburg for 12 years, I've had pets over time that have seen other vets and have had anything from "ok" to pretty lousy experiences. We ended up at Dr. Averitt's as a fluke last year, but it was the best "mistake" to ever happen to our puppies. This morning was no exception.
