RecommendedMy 10 year old son had been throwing up for weeks. His pediatrician said he was ok. He didn’t get better so on Feb 8 th 2019 I took him to TMC Children’s ER. Dr. Hilary McClafferty took care of him. She order tests of his stomach and also a CT of his brain. She found a tumor in his brain. She sent us to Banner Diamond Children’s. Staff at Banner told me that most Drs would not of ordered a CT of the brain for a child throwing up. My son had surgery and had the tumor removed. I have NEVER seen such efficiency in an ER before! I’m a healthcare provider and am extremely discerning and fastidious when it comes to care for my family. These folks whisked my son in for an injury that happened during rock climbing practice and were courteous, caring and time-efficient. Personal thank you’s to Dr Karadsheh, nurse Tina, Shannita, Christine, and Becky. You all are amazing! Thank you so much!
Every time I’ve been in the pediatric emergency hospital for my son they are always on top of things very welcoming and understanding! As a parent when your child is sick you are stressed but when u walk in there they make you feel better and talk you through what’s going on with your child!!! Tina Stinson you rock thanks for taking such good care of my son!!!
I have never been to an ER that got you in and out took us to her room the nurse was waiting and the doctor walked in right behind us very nice not to have to wait
They are knowledgeable and very professional. Children's unit is top notch!!

They were very slow my daughter was in a severe car accident to the point Vehicles flipped and rolled and it took 5 hours to get X-rays done nothing was broken but she still cannot move her shoulder or arm and her lower back is swollen and they did not do a CT or an MRI and they gave her one ibuprofen for the entire time we were there for 7 hours
I was very very impressed with the quality of service TMC offered . The details given to put children at ease is amazing!
I've always loved tmc. I always take my children there for emergencies. The staff there are amazing. My children love it to and that's what important to! Great job tmc!
