Way too crowded! – This was a cool place but unless you want to fight your way to the restroom and take about 15 mins to get from one side of the bar to the other, I'd stay clear. The atmosphere was fun and young but way too crowded for me.
start out the night – My girlfriends and I always start the night off at Tipsy. It is a great place to hang out and drink without the prententious people you'll find at the other bars in midtown. After a few drinks there, its location allows for bar hopping the rest of the night. We often do end up back at tipsy though because the bartenders are amazing!
This subdued and lounge-like Midtown pub provides a relaxing alternative to the bustling nightlife scene that surrounds it. – In Short An inviting environment offers options of two rooms: one for lounging by the fireplace on the couch, the other for more raucous bar games such as pool and darts. A laid-back and affable staff make ordering drinks at the bar a welcome pleasure. Though within walking distance to many neighborhood venues, many beers from which to choose on tap and homemade pizza encourage a lengthy visit.
LOVES IT!!!! – I love the Tipsy! Its a great place to meet new people and make friends. The staff is so nice and friendly-they are the reason I go back every time! Happy hour has great prices and damn do the bartenders serve a stiff drink- you definatly get your moneys worth. Oh and dont forget the pizza there-its better than Pizza Hut! I love it! A+++++!
Good for Happy Hour Only – This place is good for happy hour. It has a unique, laid-back atmosphere early evening with plush leather couches and other elements that make it feel like an extension of your living room. However, once things get rolling later in the night this place is barely tolerable. You quickly feel as if you are cramped into a bar in a college town.
