Calling these guys tailors would be like calling the teddy bear work shop a veterinarian clinic . I was just trying to get measurements for a suit. It’s in Ireland and the bride and groom are having them made there . We just have to send measurements. It was like pulling teeth . They don’t take measurements they just hand you clothes to try on. Writing my personal info down in store... Online .ca shopping is Bad. You click order but didnt fill in all the info online... yet they charge you before your order is placed resulting in multiple charges of your checking account of your Money that TipTop will only return to you only when they are ready' if so... Days and days later... Offered less then 10 dollar discount as compensation... Horrible Disrespectful' Disgusting'
I recently went to the Tip Top Tailors store in Halifax Shopping Centre twice within a couple of weeks to do the first business clothes shopping I've done since before the pandemic. A lovely guy named Jim help me pick out several ensembles, all of which were a perfect fit, and both trips were the most hassle free and successful clothes shopping experiences I can remember in my adult life. I'm going back today to shop for kakis and maybe some polo shirts and sweaters.
