My husband and I had lunch there this past Monday. He ordered fried chicken breasts. They were heavily breaded and dry. I ordered the delicious chopped steak with queso sauce...it was great. I also ordered a side of steamed spinach, which is my favorite vegetable however, the cook put some spice in it that resembled nutmeg...that was awful. My other sides were good. Had an early dinner with my mom and the food was delicious as always but it took a long time to get service and our food also took a long time.
Food was good service was lousy Damn lady never came to see if everything was alright wait about 45 minutes to bring me my damn bill and then ask me if I wanted to go box sorry but I won't be going back
I give it 4 stars because the place is a little tight. BUT the food is great and the pies, lemon meringue and apple pies are YYYUUUUMMMY
Where do I begin? First off, we waited about 8-10mins before someone even came over with menus, and no they were not busy. The food came out fairly quickly after putting in our order. Guess they didn’t have time to season the food. Everything tasted bland from the god awful over cooked “steamed” broccoli to the famous chicken fried steak. The white gravy was bland.
