Place just isnt the same. We just leaving. An elderly man came in 840pm the cashier told him if you order we can only do to go. He wanted to sit down. She said sorry We close at nine. He left without ordering. Its 9pm there are still three families here. Yall lost heart points today. Food wasnt to good anyway to the elderly man who wasnt able to stay.
Love the breakfast tacos and their salsa! Always made fresh and never disappointed. The new place looks great 👍🏻

Having grown up going to to Tio Dans Puffy Tacos - I was worried about the new location (especially after reading some reviews). But honestly, it was the exact same service and food as I have long loved and looked forward to!!! Absolutely loved it, as always, and I look forward to going back!!!
From a position that loved this place I have turned. After the fire I've visited the new location 3 times this was my last. Their puffy tacos were half the size they used to be. I ordered onion rings and for 4.25 I got 6 onion rings that had a fish aftertaste... I miss the smiles, Linda's hot sauce with chips that are crisp yet tender. This is no longer tio Dan's it's a sad imitation being attempted by Pacific... Very disappointed and dissatisfied
Staff is always good (polite and friendly) and tacos are reliably good. I like the new location as it is much larger and newer than the old one on Main St/620 that burned down.
Bad bad not worth your the money! Tio Dan's Puffy Tacos now working out of new place called Pacific Gulf Sea Island Fish Fry. Not sure if it's new owner's or new cooks, I ordered 3 Menudo's several tacos all for $44. Cup size was like 18 oz, meat in cup was literally about an inch in amount and no hominy. I have been going to Tio Dans for over30 yrs. Very very disappointed, they just lost another customer!
