I had a total knee replacement in April. Used a walker for 2 days then a cane for 2 days then walking with out anything. Everything went so well I got my other knee done 7months later. I was very happy with both surgeries. I see the PA Elizabeth on all follow ups and she is excellent. She is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions. Would recommend Dr Sauber.
Because I thought I was a unique issue with the way I was treated, I never really said much about the miserable experience with this doctor and some of his staff . The surgery totally changed my life for the worst. I was never able to gain muscle strength back. I was reprimanded before I actually went into the surgery that I was being difficult, Only because I was asking questions and was very nervous, (obviously for good reason). I took my 84 year old mother to this physician... He was awful, dismissive, obnoxious and totally disrespectful. He never spoke on her X-rays or pain. He just kept focusing on my mother using her oxycodone and addiction. !! I stopped him right there and said look at my mother crying and in pain ! She just started vthe oxycodone has sciatica nerve pain radiating down her side.. what are her other options? Injection? PT? This moron proceeds to tell me he didn't have a magic wand! Went to see Dr. Sauber last May for hip pain. Felt rushed and dismissed but was sent for MRI. MRI results showed subchondral fracture and was put non weight bearing for 10 weeeks. Could *possibly* be avasvular necrosis. Came off non weight bearing and told to follow up in 6 months. Was still in pain. Had repeat MRI with no change but was told they couldn’t do a hip replacement on me because I was Too young and it was NOT avasvular necrosis. Went to see Dr Timothy sauber on April 10th I had a very nice visit he is very nice caring and he was up front about my up coming hip surgery he told me what he's go to do and what I can expect after the surgery I would go back to see him again thank you for your help and hopefully I can get better so I can start walking better
