My 89 year old mother had to have her gallbladder removed and she was very nervous but also very anxious to get it removed as she had been uncomfortable for months. We were unaware of what was causing her symptoms until she had an abdominal ultrasound. When referred to Dr. Favre from a friend who is also a physician, we both felt very at ease. She did an amazing job in keeping her relaxed before the procedure. I am very grateful to Dr. Favre.

I can’t express how satisfied I am with Mrs. Favre. I had been experiencing a couch for over 2 years that no one could diagnose. I had a hernia and sever heart burn. Got a referral to see Dr. Favre best doctor ever. She ran some test then told me about my options. Got my hernia fixed and a band on my stomach to help with the heart burns. I had previously had surgery by Dr Favre so when I needed to have this procedure for severe reflux I knew I wanted her to do it. She was very thorough in her explanation of the procedure and the risks involved. I had very detailed instructions post op with support from her staff. She was very patient with all of my questions and I did not feel rushed at my appointments. The team she had a St Joes was great! My post op recovery is going well because of her support and encouragement.

Dr Artz removed my gall bladder due to it having an infection. The procedure was quite fast and Dr Artz was her normal charming self. This is the second surgery she has performed on me and I can highly recommend her. She listens to her patients and gives you all the options. Follow up is great as well.

From the pre-surgery visit at Dr Favre's office to the Tucson Surgery Center for the actual triple hernia surgery, she was most caring and put my mind to ease about the surgery. She is a First-class surgeon and very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Favre along with her outstanding staff: Kimberly, JoAnn, Marco, and Anesthesiologist, Dr. Lopez.

Dr. Artz performed a Hernia Repair for me. I found her to be pleasant to talk with, respectful and caring. She is very efficient, explained the procedure fully, answered my concerns and provided detailed instructions both prior to and post surgery.

Dr. Favre takes the time to review thoroughly all the medical records pertinent to the upcoming surgery and considers and customizes the surgical options for each patient's health and well-being. Recovery from gallbladder removal surgery has been remarkably easy. I only took two doses of prescription pain medication in the first two days after surgery, finding that over the counter pain medication was enough to handle my discomfort. I chose Dr. Favre after hearing good things about her from my mom and sister who had their surgeries done by Dr. Favre awhile ago. I recently had my surgery and I knew I was in good hands as Dr. Favre and her team made me feel safe and secure at the surgery center, both pre and post-surgery.
