Tom went above and beyond to pull out a load of cypress on a weekend when he knew I would be coming at some point to get a load of 4/4 boards. He was happy to put in that extra work so that I would have a better experience when I arrived. I've worked with Marty before, but he was just as friendly and helpful as ever. If you want top notch service and expertise, give C.W. a call. I was shopping around for a tabletop and benchtops when I stumbled upon C.W. through word-of-mouth. Tom and Marty helped me with the selection process, the different board options, and overall cost of the project I was looking to complete. I settled on black walnut, and let me tell you that these boards are gorgeous! They S4S the rough cuts and then sanded to 150grit for me. Couldn't ask for better!
Great shop to work with. I went in looking for lumber to build a dining room table, and Tom talked me through selection and gave me a number of good pointers on my design. This is the most ambitious project I've ever worked on so his advice was quite welcome. He gave me a good price on the wood and even took care of milling the table top for free when we realized that the jointer I had access to might not be wide enough to mill the top. Excellent experience, and I would absolutely work with him again.

Had a great time this morning meeting Tom and seeing his shop. He came to meet me on a Saturday morning even though they technically are closed. He obviously is a man with a wealth of knowledge and woodworking skills. I was able to pick up some walnut, cherry and maple for some projects I have planned. Tom’s prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend giving him your business if you are in need.
