Outstanding!! – I've been there several times and it's always been 5 star worthy. Their Prime Rib is amazingly tender and delicious. Their bacon wrapped tenderloin was also good and cooked perfectly. Our waitress took exelent care of us and made sure everything was the way it was supposed to be. The atmosphere there is great, and what impressed me was that you had your own private booth that cut out any noise from other booths. I highly recomend this place to everyone who wants a good meal and an enjoyable time.
Leaves much to desired – I don't know if I dined at the Timber Mine on an off night, but I was less than impressed. The decor was cheesy and the food was mediocre. I have a feeling that the people who dine at this restaurant and love it don't get out much. The salad was a joke; iceburg with peas and a slice of beet. Really? Best Steak and Crab I ever had! – Great service! The tenderloin and crab was outstanding. The way they cut the crab made it easy to eat with no mess. Heard good things about the prime rib but have not tried it yet because their filet mignon (Gold Rush) is always good smothered with sauted mushrooms and onions. The only cons for me are that the salad is rather plain and there is no soup option. 30-minute wait during peak hours. 4.5 stars
Fun for families and tourists. Get the Prime Rib. – Kinda pricey, but your money buys you kitschy western decor and skilled attentive service. The beef and seafood combos are in the upper $20, but normal portions of beef(1/2 cut) will be under $20. Includes salad, and a side of starch or veggies. This place is AWESOME! – Several years ago we accidentally stumbles onto this place, and ever since we've every now and then taken the drive from our home in SLC just to dine on prime rib here. We're going this coming Sunday and we JUST CAN'T WAIT!!
Too good to be true! – I own an angus ranch in Montana and raise restaurant quaility beef. The steaks I get at the Timber Mine are the best. I bring clinets and associates in from time to time and take them there. After all it is a steak house and not a veggie bar. Kudos to the staff whho are the finest servers in the valley. if one thinks this is expencive go to Dallas and eat a tough horse steak for 50% more!
Timber Mine - You Get what you Pay For – Nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. The breaded mushrooms are a must! The selection of food is very sufficient, but why get anything but steak? Drinks are always available and the service is perfect - meaning the waiters are available, but don't interfere with an enjoyable meal. The prices are high, but I believe every penny is worth it. Never a waste to go here!
Great food, great service – We have gone to this restaurant since it opened, we have never been displeased. Anyone who chooses to go here will be delighted.
Great atmoshpere – Along with the setting the food tastes great! Little on the pricey side for what you get - Little or no veggies- this is for meat lovers.
