From what I've read and heard about 1/3 of people who go have a really bad experience. For that kind of money those odds of having a bad experience are way to high! Especially for a restaurant that presents itself like this!
We were as happy with our second visit as we were with the first. The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was competent and friendly—Jarrod was very attentive and informative and Jenny stopped by our table several times to assist and chat. The cucumber gin martini was indescribable and most enjoyable. We will be back.
best steakhouse in Portland, Me...had a great meal and service was tops, drink was great as well.
Use to be one of our favorite places but after last night we will never go back. The steak came to our table black/chard and cost $80!! Everything from the appetizer to the sides were not good....the mushrooms were burnt the potatoes were cold. Oh and the beer battered bacon strips were not crispy and were mushy. I am not one to write bad reviews but $250 for a meal that should have cost $10 is infuriating. Not a good anniversary dinner and we are extremely disappointed �
